I am happy to say today we joined the affiliate program of RESA®, Real Estate Staging Association®. RESA is a member governed trade association for Home Stagers, and was formed in order to support all professional real estate stagers or Home Stagers in North America. If you are looking for an easy to install curtain rod, there are a few options you can choose from. You can try tension rods, which mount on the inside of the window frame. If you are lucky enough to have metal windows and frames you can use a magnetic rod, or you can use and adhesive type of installation. But if you want a completely secure installation, which allows you the flexibility to adjust the height of your curtain rod, you need to check out ReadyHang™ decorative drapery hardware!

The problem with tension rods is that they mount inside the window frame, which is NOT where you traditionally hang your curtain rod today. This can also interfere with the use of the window, and tension rod mounts are not very secure. Magnetic rod mounts can put the curtain rods above the window, but just barely as they are limited to the frame, and again you must have a metal window frame. Magnetic mounts cannot support much weight either. Adhesive mounts allow a little more flexibility in placement but again are not very secure or weight bearing.
